Long Term Care
Granite County Medical Center offers a home like atmosphere to care for your loved one. Each patient is given the individual care designed to maximize their quality of life.
We also in conjunction with Compassus Hospice provide continuing care during end of life.
As a critical access hospital we have extras that many long term care facilities do not. Lab, radiology and provider visits are in house, as well as physical therapy. We have a very active restorative program seven days per week, to keep your loved one active and mobile. We also provide an activities department to assist with exercises, socialization and life enrichment.
Granite County Medical Center is fortunate to have many wonderful volunteers that share our dedication to enriching the lives of every person. Many play music, sing, read books and newspapers, play games and even lead quilting classes. Family
interaction is always encouraged. We host an annual holiday meal so that family and friends can share this important tradition with their loved one. In the summer months we like to enjoy our courtyard filled with flowers and plants, we host barbques for patients, family and staff. We also provide shopping trips, rides in the country and fishing trips as the weather permits.
